summer fun with pinterest

Pinterest is a catching craze for people of all ages, whether you're a tech-savvy teen or a parent just trying to keep up with your digital native daughter! GirlTalk Therapy suggests parents and daughters look into pinterest together as a way to beat summer boredom and to find shared activities that you'll be sure to have a good time with.

In a nutshell, Pinterest is an online pinboard where you can collect and organize ideas, pictures, and projects that you find by surfing the internet. For parents of younger tweens, you can even share a pinterest page with her to help monitor her online browsing and help her find cool projects.

There are many Pinterest pages devoted to teen crafts (start here, here and here), and most can be made with simple household items and 30 minutes of time! Get creative and tackle boredom with Pinterest!
