Natalia Mirkowicz, M.A., LMFT-Associate, LPC-Intern under the supervision of Marshall Lyles, M.A., LMFTS, LPCS, RPTS, is devoted to providing hope, support, knowledge and skills to help reach your goals. Natalia is a genuine, compassionate professional, who is knowledgeable in the family system and experienced in helping individuals, parents, couples and families meet their needs.
Natalia provides professional guidance to her clients in a space where people feel understood, unconditionally accepted and supported. She believes that the unique relationship built in therapy can shift how clients relate to themselves and others. She uses humor, creative expression and experiential interventions when helpful. Natalia works from a systemic lens, meaning she accounts for the fact that we are all impacted by the people and environment around us. She understands the value of relationships and the frustrations that can accompany them. Natalia has additional training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Based CBT, and the Gottman Method for couples.
The clients that Natalia often supports, have a desire to let others in, relate to their kids or family, get their needs met, accept themselves, or move from feeling stuck. Natalia has had the privilege to work at a variety of professional settings, including in a residential juvenile facility. An experience that has honed her passion for helping adolescents survive the teen years, in addition to working with parents to strengthen their parent-child relationships.
Personally, Natalia is an avid traveler, Austinite, Aggie, and lover of all thing’s coffee. She appreciates connecting with people of all walks of life and values community. Natalia is motivated each day by family, growth and helping others. Natalia is also a volunteer of Junior League of Austin and enjoys spending her free time giving back to the Austin community.
