Values and Experience: Our therapists are creative, driven, and committed to both their own professional development and the integrity of the group practice and its therapists. We are actively seeking therapists at all stages with experience in family systems/systemic theories, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, relational & experiential practices. Therapists may have additional training or specialties outside of their postgraduate studies such as DBT, ACT, PACT, EMDR, IFS, etc. All therapists receive ongoing CEUs focused on inclusivity, developing the self as therapist, family systems, anti-oppression and racial identity development. GT Therapy Group is dedicated to cultivating a healthy, happy and homey group practice where clinicians feel comfortable staying. We are committed to delivering high quality therapy services for our clients and believe that is achieved with ongoing consultation and training for our therapists, the implementation of responsive and ethically, culturally, and trauma-informed systems and policies, and a commitment to our team for ongoing growth & transformation as a group practice.
Schedule and Hours: Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and GT Therapy Group needs. Hours generally include evening & weekend hours to start; this schedule may vary based on experience, populations served, and current GT needs. While we do not guarantee a minimum number of clients or sessions per week, caseloads generally fill within 1-2 months and preference is given to candidates who wish to maintain at least 15 client sessions per week (with opportunity for further growth) and facilitate at least one group. Marketing, client generation, and all non-clinical administrative infrastructure is maintained by GT Therapy Group at no additional time or cost to clinicians. Full time benefits begin at 20+ client hours per week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Therapists will provide individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy based on experience and training. Therapists are responsible for maintaining timely, quality records in our EHR, as well as processing client payments and communicating with clients about fees, as we value integrating “money talk” into the therapy room. New clients schedule online and GT Therapists maintain their own availability for new clients in our scheduling system. Whenever possible we expect client phone calls & emails to be returned within 24 business hours. Attendance at a monthly team meeting and twice-monthly clinical consultation & in-house CEUs is mandatory (currently 1st, 2nd & 4th Thursdays 11-12:00). Therapists contribute one blog or vlog post per quarter to the GT Therapy Group blog or YouTube Channel on a topic of choice to highlight each clinician’s unique voice.
