Therapy for Creatives

A musician, artist, gardener, and voracious reader, Julia brings her creativity and curiosity into each session with clients of all ages and genders. Julia is a fierce advocate for client autonomy and self-determination, and her work is rooted in liberation, justice and love. Julia uses experiential and spontaneous creativity in the room, using materials and methods that inspire and create safety and innovation in therapy. Julia has a gift for connecting with neurodivergent, creative, spirited clients who can take their masks off in the room with her.

In addition to her work with creatives, Julia is adept at working with parents, adolescents and family systems navigating this transitional and transformative phase of life, and comes to her therapy work with a background in college advising. With her commitment to liberation psychology and social justice, Julia's work with all clients is inherently systemic, non-pathologizing and deeply committed to your joyful self-expression, self-compassion and self-love. In her own words:

“How do we learn to love and accept ourselves?

How do we learn to love those we care for in a way that is committed to their growth and our own?”
